How Fees are Calculated

Understanding how fees are calculated can help you better plan your activities on Mammoth. Here's a breakdown of how each fee is determined:

  1. Market Creation Fee

    • A flat fee of 0.1 SOL is deducted from your wallet when you create a new market

    • Example: If you create a market, 0.1 SOL will be deducted regardless of the market's parameters

  2. Trading Fee

    • 0.1% of your trade value is deducted when buying or selling tokens

    • When buying: The fee is deducted from the SOL amount you're using to buy tokens

    • When selling: The fee is deducted from the SOL you receive from selling tokens

    • Example: If you buy tokens worth 10 SOL, the fee will be 0.01 SOL, and you'll receive tokens worth 9.99 SOL

  3. Winning Bet Fee

    • 0.1% is deducted from the SOL amount you're withdrawing after a market resolves in your favour

    • Example: If you win a bet and are withdrawing 100 SOL, the fee will be 0.1 SOL, and you'll receive 99.9 SOL

Remember to account for these fees when planning your trades and calculating potential returns. The actual SOL amount you receive may be slightly less than expected due to these fees.
